All prospective members of Leeds Girls Club must sign and agree to the regulations and expectations outlined below.
1. I will make sure that I pay the fees required of me as a member of Leeds Girls Club (£3 per session) and understand that if I fail to do so that my membership may be withdrawn, and my place will be offered to someone else.
2. I will ensure that I try my best to attend every session except in the case of illness or other circumstances that prevent me from attending. I will notify LGC in advance if I am unable to attend. I also consider that my attendance will be monitored, and if deemed as unsatisfactory that my membership may be withdrawn.
3. I will respect everyone and treat others how I would like to be treated. I understand that the Club has a 100% inclusivity policy and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind including racial, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion and political view.
4. I understand that the use of my mobile phone will be restricted whilst I am at a session by handing it in to my mentor/group leader upon arrival. I will only use my phone in the case of an emergency or if I have been given permission by a group leader to do so.
5. I will report cases of bullying (including cyber bullying) by a member of Leeds Girls Club or a volunteer to an appropriate adult (Safeguarding Lead or Deputy). I understand that I have the responsibility to call out incidents of bullying and that if I am found to be involved in such incidents that my membership may be revoked and/or my behaviour will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
6. I will try my hardest when completing activities that I find difficult and not give up.
7. I will follow all instructions given to me by a session leader or volunteer.
8. I will work respectfully with others if given an assigned group task to complete.
9. I understand that any information that I disclose to a group leader is confidential to a certain extent. Information disclosed about illegal activity or anything else that is seen as harmful or highly concerning can be shared to the appropriate authorities.
10. I will not be disruptive by talking over others. I will, however, contribute to group discussions to the best of my ability.
11. I understand that I am at LGC to learn and not only to have fun.
12. I am free to dress the way in which I want to.
